I think I've been taking some things for granted.
At first, I had thought that it was just a curse
But I suppose now, after some reflection, it might just be a blessing in diguise
Things always seem to have a way of looking good from a different perspective
I shall not resolve to drive it away
No
I shall resolve to avoid
For avoidance is more realistic than change

Well, just wanted to say, Drama Fest today was really worth it
Not that I paid for it though...
The girls managed to sneak us in hee
Thanks!
Anyway, I'm very glad I went for it
Was rather skeptical at first.
Artemis
Theirs was pretty funny with the poser guys
But I guess the story was pretty cliche
About some secret love that was never fulfilled
Athena
About a mystery involving 3 people who keep backstabbing each other
I suppose it's very chim
But not very entertaining
I don't like the male lead
He seemed... too.... over-expressive?
Ares
Was expecting some bollywood dancing like fac drama comp during orientation
Disappointed there
Anyway
Must say I think the queen acted really well
I think it was a little to literature-ish
Too many love poems and stuff
Calvin Chiew was good but a bit no link haha
Apollo
Definitely the best
Great characters
Alot of humour with the wardens, the gay guy, the siamese twins n priest
Very very entertaining
A little too long though
And the ending was... a little... creepy?
And sad heh...
Well anyway Apollo swept almost all the prizes as expected
Can tell that the audience really had a great time
Emcees were pretty entertaining too
Only thing I hate about it is the totally wtf Veggie badn thingy
Totally crap and out of point
Spoilt the atmosphere
Guess that's all
Really admire all the drama fest participants
Think they did a really good job

Today it rained for the first time in a long, long while...
I don't normally say this but I'll be grateful for once and say that we are blessed with this rain
The growing number of bushfires in Singapore recently are a testament to this drought
Even the field was cloaked by a cloud of dust during the fire drill yesterday
It looked like a war-zone
Everywhere the grass is REALLY dead
Like yellow-brown, dust, dead
Curious
It seems to have been the first day I've actually experienced rain on a normal school day in HC
Results coming soon
Really hope I can stay
It would really suck to leave
