i jus completed Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. haha yeah i noe the name sounds stupid but in any case its the last installment of a game trilogy which is relli relli relli successful.

so yeah the game... compared to the previous 2 games was pretty boring for me. the story was relli slow moving till the end. i suppose my fav is still the original metal gear solid cos number 2 got kinda crappy after the revelation of the patriots n stuff. but i suppose when u piece them all together it does make some sort of sense. its kinda like the matrix trilogy where the original was still the best. overall gameplay was very much like metal gear solid 2. but the original still had the most developed characters. this one was not very well done with the rather skimpy intro of the cobra unit who apparently are super qiang. hmmm... however i do like the fact tt u get to control the young version of big boss n even get to noe the reason behind his one missing eye. it lets u understand why he created outer heaven n zanzibar in the metal gear series. n ocelot was as extra as ever in his younger self. but u do later understand why tho. but still i think he sux. no ninjas this time round so tt kinda sucked. the main villian is gay so err... hmm. but now when i think abt it all the 3 games were kinda similar in terms of storyline progress tho... u fight this certain team of enemies throughout the game while penetrating their base with everything culminating in a boss battle with a giant metal gear (rex, ray, shagohod). den there's a chase scene of some sort (jeep, ninjas, bike) n den u get a final melee combat to end it. hmm... ok so i suppose i sound like a real geek now but hey, its a damn fine game.

so anyway back to real life, i've been wasting away as usual. yesterdae met up with some of my wushu seniors n juniors to play mah jong at jo's hse den went to toa payoh to play dota at a lan shop haha. quite fun. u noe i've been relli wondering how everyone else is spending their hols cos i relli feel like i'm wasting my time. but den when i tihnk abt it, wat can i do tt wont waste my time? if i attend classes, it'll be a little too late to register n i've only got a month left so no point. i had initially thought of attending a sign lang class with jo budden the classes only start in like jan so... yeah. den like if go volunteer do sth i alone go abit the sian rite? haiz... i guess i'm fated to waste away. its so funny how i've longed for these daes during the torment of my o's n now tt they're here i find them quite pointless. sad huh.
