first week of o level theory papers is OVER!!! 2 more weeks left! time for an UPDATE!

mondae - higher chinese - wat can i sae? this has always been my worst paper and still is. if u want comments from some ppl whose chi is more normal then the general sentiment is tt the paper was fairly easy. tho i hardly studied. i did feel it was indeed easier than perlim papers. i managed to remember more words than expected. shud be able to get a pass. if i'm lucky, mebbe even a B. well but a pass wud do jus fine la. anywae, the gong1 han2 was weird i did si1 han2 abt describing a teacher's dae celebration n how this yr's was diff frm normal. crappy. den bao4 zhang1 bao4 dao3 was abt comment on the rise of children being involved in car accidents. fairly weird. oh well... rather o-k i suppose. oh n there was sth rather naughty tt happened tt i wont wana sae out publicly. those taking the papers in the same class as me wud noe wat i'm toking abt. hehe

tues - ss - average. in fact even a sec 3 could have done it. literally. all the topics in the paper were from the sec 3 syllabus. n the sbq was de-contextualised. came abt abt conflict, argentina vs britain (dont laugh its rude) over this bunch of islands called falkland islands. u noe i have my doubts tt it even exists. a fair share ofchallenging and easy qns. the particular qn tt stumped most ppl was the 4th sbq and... i was no exception. haiz. n i think i could have done better for my seq. did the one on switzerland since i studied it like hell. but i spent like 50min on my sbq n had less time for it so tt's my regret for the paper. i think i could have done better if i sacrificed some sbq time to work on better l5s for my seq. haiz. n now i feel so cheated tt i studied my sec 4 topics.

wed - english - average. i think the compo was fairly easy. did the topic on flight. described a theme park ride (something like a roller coaster but they just shoot you up. those who've been to dreamland in australia n rode their tower of terror wud noe wat i'm toking abt). so to keep my compo on topic, i made sure i emphasised the feeling of flight during the ride. managed to pull a 5 min moment into the 4 page compo so it was alrite i suppose. for functional i was expecting something exotic like a newspaper report or something. fortunately wat came out was a informal letter to an uncle. i chose belleview over the ace sch! yes! the most excellent choice! anywae, tho they din specify, i wrote reasons based on the points given n gave comparisons when i remembered. my longest functional ever. i think i could even have written more if there was more time. so then came the compre. comparison passage as expected (2 passages given). had its fair share of challenging n easy qns. vocab was alrite i suppose. summary was one of the hardest ever. did 2 drafts. first draft i accidentaly included the first few lines before i read lines 14-?? only. its like the first time i EVER made tt mistake la. normaly i ALWAYS underline the areas to summarise duno why this time i din. anywae, so my first draft ended up with 99 words. den my second draft ended with 118 words. had to add extra elaborations n all to jack it up to 150 lah. lame. i'm pretty sure i had every major point summarise into the thing loh n still not enough words. haiz. so in de end i ended only like 5 mins before times up. damn screwed. normally end like 30-45min before. but i think shud be o-k la. not tt dead.

thurs - e math - easy. yes. i daresay easy. hmmm... managed to finish 1h before time. checked twice n found lotsa careless mistakes so phew. so far haven't hard of any mistakes heh. hope can keep this up for the paper 2.

fri - a math - average. easier than expected. finished 35min before end so checked once only. found some careless mistakes. rite now i noe i got 4 mistakes. 1st qn on position vectors i got 2.5. heard the ans is 2. must've gotten some conceptual error somehwere... den my binomial damn irritating. at first i got -238 which i heard is the rite ans, den duno why i checking tt time go n see sth wrong n change to -280. haiz. one of those times u wished u din check. den the number of max points on i put 5 when its suppose to be 3 only cos its more than n less than. careless. n the last one i duno how to do is the integrate x square lnx. heard it came out in the a math review but i lost mine somewhere! argh! n i chose 'either' which is dead easy. have no idea why anyone wud wana chose 'or' all the integration stuff so tedious. so i'm hoping for the best for paper 2 in the last week. hope they give a relative velocity qn muahahaha!

time is relli crawling man. 2 weeks!!! but i still rem the time when i was tihnking "2 more months!!" yea... so for tt i am glad. but if u wana look at the gloomier side of things, its 2 more months to sch reopen, and 2 more yrs to a levels. but... then again... 2 more weeks till PLAY TILL YOU DROP!!!! so looking forward to catching up with everyone n straightening up my life. mugging all dae long is definitely no good for health. need to return to play mode. quick! 2 weeks! feeling more n more drained now... need... to... play... have this sudden urge to wana play ff8 AGAIN (for the err... 8th time?) n ff7. hmmm... n i wana get nice good powerful speakers to connect my ipod to. n i wana get a nice iskin covering for my ipod to prevent the little thing for scratches... it already has a small one on the corner of the screen =( ... n i wana go collect my ipod frm the service center tmr quickly... it screwed up... like it kept changing songs on its own after every few seconds... i wana get manson's last 2 albums portrait of an american family and smells like children... not sure if i wana get white trash... hmm... n i wana g...... haiz... am i asking for too much? no la hor? i'm jus a simple boy with simple tastes... so innocent... untainted... *yawn*
