today jst had my last common test paper... chinese paper 1. i think it shud be quite ok la... i stuffed in alot of "suo3 wei4"s. about 4 or 5 haha.
bad news first? yeah... i got relli damn for my chinese paper 2. not tt it was in any way unexpected. but i passed! yay. tt's the least i could hope for. with any luck i might be able to actually scrape a b4 off the floor for my chinese. wow! haiz... i kind of dont feel sad... but i'm not happy either. i feel i'm not giving chinese the chance it deserves but den again i truly do feel that i'll never do well in chinese. so if i wont do well, i relli dont see why i shud spend time working on it. i mean like i'll almost definitely be using english as my L1. de day my chinese beats my english.... ahhh better not say. in any case i think for this common test my english is quite screwed. the compo topics were relli hard and the compre was just hard. tt's the problem with english. its quite inconsistent so its relli hard to garuantee and a for it. haiz. why liddat???
for good news, i got my first a1! yay! i managed to scrape thru with an a1 for chem even tho i never studied. come to think of it now, i think chem was the only paper i din study at all for and yet i think its the paper i wud do best in. kudos to mrs chua. her totalitarian classroom environment has relli paid off i guess. i alwasy tot is the teacher was too gd, the student's marks wud usually be quite bad cos everyone is relying on the teacher. i guess mrs chua is waaay past too gd. hope i can keep this up for my prelims and o lvls. tt's wat's most important i guess.
also, tdy for assembly we had this relli great speaker. he was probablly the best speaker i've ever come across. (not that i have come across much speakers in the first place) right off i tot he was some osama bin laden with his beard n all but once he start toking he had easily engaged the entire auditorium and enthralled everyone. great guy. very funny.
